PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member having a reinforcing section of a vehicle that is not seen from the outside and can secure the good appearance of the cover member, by concealing a cut surface appearing on the cover member with the outer surface of a vehicle body when the reinforcing section is cut and the cover member is attached to the vehicle body. SOLUTION: In the cover member 01 with the reinforcing section of the vehicle, the reinforcing section 2 is molded integrally with the cover member 1 made of a plastic material attached to the vehicle body 5 so as to cover the outer surface via a thin connecting part 3. The thin connecting part 3 is formed so that the cut surface 13 appearing on the cover member 1 side when the thin connecting part 3 is cut by a cutter C faces the outer surface of the vehicle body 5 in a mounted attitude of the cover member 1 to the vehicle body 5.
