PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line head whereby it is possible to reduce the cost of replacement of the line head because of a defective image caused by malfunction of a nozzle and to improve the reliability at a low cost, and to provide a line type inkjet recorder having the same. SOLUTION: This line head 2 has a plurality of nozzles 21a arranged in a length corresponding to a width of a recording medium and records an image by ejecting ink toward the recording medium from the nozzles 21a. The line head 2 consists of a plurality of head units 21 each having the plurality of nozzles 21a arranged therein, the head units being divisionally formed to be arranged along the longitudinal direction.
