<p>PURPOSE:To improve side pressure-resisting property of a transmission belt and to enable the use of the belt for a small-diameter pulley by providing an upper structure having a core structure capable of bearing high load and a side pressure resisting layer for preventing buckling at the time of high load and a lower structure having a low edge cog portion, and uniting both structures in a body. CONSTITUTION:Rope tensile members 2 having low elasticity and high power are buried side by side in a belt body 1, and an upper core rubber 3 layer is disposed on the rope rensile members. Below the tensile members 2, reinforcing inner fluted screens 4 are disposed perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the belt, with rubber in which plural layers of short fibers are arranged laterally to the belt adhering thereto. A compressed rubber layer 5 is disposed below the inner fluted screens 4. The outer peripheral surface of the belt is coated with canvas with rubber adhered on the bias, to form an upper structure. Plural layers of fluted screens 8 are adhered to the lower portion of the upper structure perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the belt, with rubber layers 9 where a group of short fibers are arranged laterally to the belt. A lower cloth 10 with rubber are laminated to be adhered to the lower portion of the fluted screens 8, to form a lower structure.</p> |
