The invention relates to the maintenance of pipelines for fluids. It relates to a scraper for pipelines capable of selectively injecting at least one chemical treatment product at at least one predetermined point or pipe section, which comprises a body 2 fitted with corollae or dishes 3 providing sealing with the inner wall of the pipeline, characterised in that the body forms a storage container 4 for the chemical treatment product and in that it additionally comprises: at least one ejection orifice 12 in communication with the said storage container; means 6, 7, 8 for ejecting the chemical treatment product through the said orifice; and means 9 for controlling the means of ejection interacting with means 10 for measuring the distance travelled by the scraper in the pipeline.
