<p>PURPOSE:To switch a mode easily, exactly and at a low cost so as to match a user's request by knowing a processor for recognizing status shown by a mode changeover switch which is connected at the time of initialization and making it effective, and switching a bus. CONSTITUTION:When a system s initialized, a CPU-A is operated, and which processor unit (CPU-A or CPU-B) is being indicated by a mode switch 31 is read as a status. At present, the switch 31 is indicating the CPU-B, therefore, the CPU-A is detached, and an input/output device which is held in common and used is connected to the CPU-B. This work is executed by a system controller 3. Thereafter, the CPU-B executes initial program loading, and thereafter, executes an object job. By executing a control in this way, the processor unit can always be switched easily by an operation of only switching the switch 31.</p> |
