<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a synchronous machine from hunting or stepping out by regulating a field current in response to the increase or decrease of an internal phase difference angle. CONSTITUTION:A rotor phase detector 11 generates a square wave corresponding to the rotating position of the rotor of a synchronous generator 1. An internal phase difference angle detector 12 inputs the terminal voltage and a rotor position signal of a period generator 1 output from a voltage detector 4, and calculates an internal phase difference angle delta. A field controller 13 controls a field current if with a deviation between the angle delta and the internal phase difference angle command value delta0 as a control input. That is, in case of delta<=0, the field current if is controlled to the prescribed value of low level, and in case of DELTAdelta>0, the field current if is controlled to increases or decrease linearly proportionally to the increases or decrease of the phase difference angle delta. Thus, a large brake torque coefficient can be provided.</p> |
