An apparatus for transferring workpieces from a press to a downstream press is arranged between the two presses. The transfer apparatus comprises two guide rails (10), which are mounted on a foot (1) provided with wheels (2), a control belt (12) which extends in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails (10) and can be driven in opposite directions, a slide (16) which can be moved along the guide rails (10) and is firmly connected to the control belt (12), a carrier (18) mounted on the slide (16) and rotatable relative to the latter, a workpiece support (19) secured on the carrier (18), and a guide plate (23) which is mounted on one of the guide rails (10) in such a way that its angular position in relation to the guide rail can be adjusted as required. The guide plate (23) serves to guide a rod (21) which is connected to the rotatable carrier (18) and by which the angular position of the carrier (18) during the movement of the slide (16) is controlled. <IMAGE> |
