PURPOSE:To cure a polyurethane film under a room temp. within a short time, in painting a polyurethane paint, by exposing a painted article to amine vapor. CONSTITUTION:In performing painting by using a polyurethane paint consisting of polyisocyanate such as aromatic polyisocyanate and a pholyhydroxy compound, a painted article painted with the polyurethane paint is exposed to amine vapor. Whereupon, a film can be dried at a room temp. within a short time and the film excellent in close adhesiveness, abrasion resistance and durability such as weather proof property is obtained.
