A fuel flow measuring system includes a return fuel storage tank (11) mounted inside a main storage tank (10), a float (16) sensitive to the fuel level in the return fuel tank and, a valve 17 or other means operated by the float (16) and varying the ratio of the quantity of fuel drawn from the main tank to the quantity of fuel drawn from the return tank so as to maintain the level of fuel in the return tank constant. A fuel flow measuring device (17) is connected to measure only the quantity of fuel drawn from the main tank (10). |
