PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel-frame structure which reduces particularly a transportation cost by reducing the capacity of a product in transportation to the utmost, and a construction method for the steel-frame structure. SOLUTION: A safety belt hook mounting fitting 7 is mounted on only each of a web 2b of the beam 2 and a web 3b of the bracket 3 of the column 1 without being mounted on each of a flange 2a of a beam 2 and a flange 3a of a bracket 3 of a column 1; a flange joint 4 for joining the flange 3a of the bracket 3 and the flange 2a of the beam 2 to each other is temporarily fixed in such a manner as not to protrude from the flange 2a of the beam 2; a web joining joint 6 for joining the web 3b of the bracket 3 of the column 1 and the web 2b of the beam 2 to each other is also temporarily fixed in such a manner as not to protrude from the web 2b of the beam 2; the flange joint 4 is joined to a part of the flange 3a of the bracket 3 of the column 1 and a part of the flange 2a and the beam 2 in such a manner as to be laid between them, on the construction site of the steel-frame structure; and the web joint 6 is joined to a part of the web 3b of the bracket 3 of the column 1 and a part of the web 2b of the beam 2 in such a manner as to be laid between them, on the construction site of the steel-frame structure.
