PURPOSE:To obtain both-side copies accurately from one-side originals by associating the copying operation of the 1st, the 3rd-originals when the known number of originals is even or the 2nd, the 4th-originals when odd, and performing the copying of reverse pages in both-side copying operation. CONSTITUTION:When the number of sheet originals stacked on a platen 1 is known, the copying operation is associated with the 1st, the 3rd, the 5th-originals if the number is even or with the 2nd, the 4th, the 6th-originals if odd, and stored temporarily in an intermediate tray 24. When both-side copying is performed, the copying operation is associated with the 2nd, the 4th, the 6th originals when the number of the originals is even or with the 1st, the 3rd, the 5th originals if even to obtain both-side copies. Consequently, the both-side copies are obtained from one-side originals accurately with high reliability. |
