PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing an inorganic powder superior in storage stability, in particular the resin composition containing a nonlead glass powder, a transfer film having a layer composed of the resin composition and a method for producing a display panel using the transfer film. SOLUTION: This resin composition containing the inorganic powder comprises (A) an inorganic powder, (B) a binding resin containing a polymer with a pyrrolidone back bone, (C) a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate and (D) a photoinitiator. This method for producing a member for the display panel comprises a step of transferring the resin layer on a substrate from the transfer film having the resin layer composed of the resin composition containing the inorganic powder, a step of forming a latent image of a pattern by exposure of the resin layer, a step of forming the pattern by developing the resin layer and a step of burning the pattern.
