PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition enhanced in moldability and product performances, and a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 5-99 mass% of a propylene resin composition which is obtained by melting/kneading the components (a)-(c): (a) 100 pts. mass of a propylene resin having a melt flow rate (MFR) of 0.01-100 g/10 min; (b) 0.001-1 pt. mass of an organic silicon compound of the formula: X<SB>n</SB>SiY<SB>m</SB>(OR)<SB>4-(n+m)</SB>[wherein X is a substituent group bearing a group reactive with a carboxylic acid or an acid anhydride; and Y is a hydrocarbon group, a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom]; and (c) 0.1-30 pts. mass of an acid-modified propylene polymer containing 0.001-1 mass% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an acid anhydride and having an intrinsic viscosity [η] of at least 0.7 dl/g, and has a melt flow rate (MFR) and a melt tension (MT) satisfying the relationship: MT>7×(MFR)<SP>-0.8</SP>.
