PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition having excellent curability, solidification, flowability when melted and handling properties such as viscosity and the like when melted in a solvent, compared to the case of a conventional (meth)acryloylated novolac resin, wherein fine characteristics can be added to the composition according to the needs of its application. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition is prepared by reacting a novolac type of a phenol resin with glycidyl(meth)acrylate, and contains (meth)acryloylated novolac resin having a phenolic hydroxyl group in a molecule and a radical polymerization initiator. The above novolac type phenol resin is characterized by the content of unreacted phenols of not more than 0.5 wt% and a dinuclear component of not more than 5 wt%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
