摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To smoothly switch a regenerative brake to a mechanical brake by apparently reducing a brake torque command by feeding back a field current at the final time of the regenerative brake. CONSTITUTION:A brake torque command is normally inputted through a command circuit comparator 8 to a pattern generator 1, converted to a command value Ip, which is further converted by a torque command TQ. A multiplier 20 multiplies an armature current Ia by a field current If to obtain an actual torque signal LTQ, thereby controlling the field current in response to a deviation between the torque command TQ and the actual torque signal STQ. On the other hand, a mechanical brake is controlled in response to a deviation between the brake torque command and the actual torque signal LTQ. When the speed of an electric railcar decreases and the field current If becomes the prescribed value or higher, the brake torque command is reduced in accordance with the field current If.</p>
