<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process while to improve bonding between longitudinal member and coating member by forming concave/convex section entirely on the outer surface of the longitudinal member. CONSTITUTION:Meshed section 5 is formed through required working method on the outer face 4a of a longitudinal member 4. It will increase the contact area with a coating member 1 thus to improve the contact-tightness between the coating member 1 made of rubber and the longitudinal member 4 made of metal. Consequently friction resistance will function against the longitudinal tension and contraction thus to prevent variation of the entire length of the weather strip (W1) in the longitudinal direction.</p> |
