PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous connection and connection failure due to erroneous dialing by providing a telephone exchange with a function which transmits voice information including a voice dial signal to connect a communication to the other-party subscriber and to receive various kinds of guide service. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone set 1 is hooked off, an exchange 2 connects the telephone set 1 and a voice recognizing circuit 3. When an originating subscriber speaks voice information of a selected number of the other-party telephone set 6, the voice recognizing circuit 3 analyzes voice information and informs a voice transmission control circuit 4 that this information indicates the terminating connection to the telephone set 6, and therefore, the voice transmission control circuit 4 instructs the exchange 2 to connect and set a channel connecting the telephone set 1, the exchange 2, and the telephone set 6. Consequently, the communication between both telephone sets 1 and 6 is permitted. |
