发明名称 LIGHT DEFLECTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To form an electric field distribution which varies linearly in plane type electrooptic crystal by vapor-depositing every four electrodes i.e. eight electrodes in total on the top and reverse surfaces of plane type electrooptic crystal, and controlling supply potentials to the electrodes as specified. CONSTITUTION:Every four, i.e. eight electrodes 12-19 in total which are symmetrical with adjacent electrodes about planes and have projecting arcuate end pieces in the opposite orthogonal directions are vapor-deposited on the top and reverse surfaces of the electrooptic crystal 11. Those electrodes are so applied with voltages that adjacent electrodes are applied with different potentials and facing electrodes on the top and reverse surfaces are supplied with potentials having the same polarity, so that the electric field distribution in the crystal 11 varies linearly. The deflection of light incident to the part encircles with arcuate end sides of the four electrodes and projected from the crystal is controlled according to said variation to increase a scanning speed and improve resolution.
