PURPOSE:To monitor the state of a communication control equipment without burdening a central processing unit and related software by providing plural line adapters of the first classification, a line adapter of the second classification, and a monitor means. CONSTITUTION:A communication control equipment 3 receives indications from a central processing unit 1 through an input/output channel signal line 11 and controls information, which is transferred through designated one of plural communication lines 511-51n of the first classification, and reports status information resulting from the control to the central processing unit 1. A communication line 52 of the second classification which is connected to the communication control equipment 3 is used for status monitor to monitor states of plural line adapters 411-4n of the first classification connected to plural communication lines 511-51n of the first classification. Status information obtained by the communication control equipment is read out through the communication line 52 of the second classification for monitor. |
