PURPOSE:To adjust a frequency easily within the range where the degradation of characteristics is allowable by making a difference in length between an oscillating part surrounded with a tuning fork-shaped supporting body part and an oscillating part, which is not surrounded with it, in a main oscillating part. CONSTITUTION:When the length of an oscillating part 6A which is not surrounded with supporting bodies 7 and 7' of an oscillating part 6 is denoted as l1 and its oscillation frequency is denoted as f1 and the length of an oscillating part 6B surrounded with said supporting dodies 7 and 7' is denoted as l2 and its oscillation frequency is dnoted as f2, the length l1 is set to a value shorter than the length l2 in the range where the unbalance of frequency is allowable, and f1>f2 is made true. Thus, the frequency adjustment which is performed by giving a metallic film 9 to a frequency adjusting part 8 provided at the tip of an oscillating part 6A is performed extensively up to the range where charcteristics are degraded by the increase of the difference between f1 and f2. |
