Fuse having a burnt-out indication fitted on the side

An electrical fuse is provided with a burnt-out indication which, for its part, is fitted on a side wall of the fuse. For this purpose, an end connection of the fuse is provided with a first opening, namely in that connecting surface which points towards the interior of the fuse. In addition, a second opening is cut out in the circumferential surface of the same end connection, which opening lies in a plane which runs essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuse housing. Furthermore, an inner passage is constructed in this end connection, which inner passage connects the first opening to the second opening. Furthermore, an opening is cut out in the fuse housing, which opening runs in axial alignment with the second opening in the end connection. A spring-loaded burnt-out indication is fitted through the opening in the fuse housing and rests firmly and in an electrically conductive manner against at least one section of the passage in the end connection. One end of an indication tensioning wire is fitted to the spring-loaded indication, and this tensioning wire extends from there along a path which belongs to the at least one section of the passage to the interior of the fuse, and then continues along the complete length of the fuse to the other end connection. Along this path, the tensioning wire is tensioned to be taut; the tensioning wire is additionally fitted to the other end connection in an electrically conductive manner.
