Corner connection of profiled rods

In a corner connection of profiled rods having a limb which lies in the plane of view and a limb which projects out of the plane of view at a distance from the limb edge, the profiled rods abut against one another in a mitre joint which forms the corner region and are permanently connected to one another there. In order to form a corner connection which can be produced at a low manufacturing cost, a mitre recess, which is arranged in the limb of a continuous profiled rod lying in the plane of view, originates from the edge of this limb and runs as far as the projecting limb, is transformed by bending the profiled-rod regions which extend on both sides of the mitre recess opposingly to form a mitre joint which originates from a chamfering zone.
