The closure element (1) consists of a tubular part (2) and a flange part (3), the flange part (3) being radially widened by relative displacement of the tubular part (2), having a conical region (5), after insertion into a borehole (13). The axial shortening of the closure element (1) is effected by means of a setting tool used for supplying a curing composition and at the same time as a filling nozzle (16). A non-return valve (11) prevents the as yet uncured composition from flowing back out of the borehole (13). <IMAGE>
