The displacement pump (10) has a housing (11), which can be closed by a cover (22), with a cylindrical interior (17), at least a part of the circumferential wall (16.5) of which is of circular cylindrical design. Mounted rotatably centrally in relation to this circular cylindrical section (16.5) of the housing circumferential wall (16) is a rotor (12) with three rollers (29). Tensioned around the rollers (29) is a band-shaped or belt-shaped separating part (13) which on both sides extends in the axial direction as far as the end walls (23, 24) of the housing (11) and bears tightly against this. On the circular cylindrical section (16.5) of the housing circumferential wall, the rollers (29) press the separating part (13) against the housing circumferential wall (16.5). On the opposite side, the separating part (13) is connected flexibly but tightly to the housing circumferential wall (16). As a result, a number of space parts (17.1, 17.2) of the interior (17) of the housing (11) are separated off from one another by the separating part (13). As a result of the rotating movement of the rollers (29) relative to the non-rotating separating part (13), these space parts (17.1, 17.2) periodically change their shape and their size. As a result, a conveying effect is created for the medium being conveyed which is situated outside the separating part (13) in the interior (17) of the housing (11). The medium being conveyed, which is periodically sucked into the suction space (17.1), is conveyed across to the pressure space (17.2) and, as a result of the displacement effect of the rollers (29) and of the separating part (13), out of the latter ...
