PURPOSE:To speed up welding operation and to improve the attaching strength of a nut in the stage of fixing the nut to a bracket body by providing projects at six corners on the fixing surface of the nut and welding the plural projections to the bracket body. CONSTITUTION:Projections 5b which are respectively linear and have a trapezoidal cross section are formed at six corners on the end face 5a of a hexagonal nut 5 and a circumferential projecting line 5c taller than the projections 5b is provided in the screw hole opening of the end face 5a. A through-hole 1d of the size larger than the outside circumference of the line 5c and smaller than the space between the projections 5b is provided at the center in the fork part 1b of a bracket body 1. The line 5c of the nut 5 is inserted into the through-hole 1d of the part 1b and the respective projections 5b are projection-welded to the flat face 1c around the hole 1d. At least >=4 projections 5b are thoroughly welded thereto. The welding operation of the nut to the bracket body is thus speeded up, by which production efficiency is improved and the connecting bracket having high attaching strength of the nut is obtd. |
