PURPOSE:To secure the stability of a cargo work and prevent welded parts from damage during hoisting by a method wherein a specific pillar is provided to each corner of a tank body and the pillar is fixed to a prescribed position and a hoisting hook is provided to the top of a hypotenuse part of the pillar. CONSTITUTION:A pillar 24 is provided to each orner of a tank body. A hypotenuse part, which is so formed as to be contained in nearly the same plane as the vertical plane which contains a center of the gravity of the tank, is provided to at least a part of the cross section of the pillar 24. These pillars 24 are provided outside the sides of an upper frame 22 and a lower frame 23 and the lower ends of the pillars 24 are fixed to a base member 25. At least the upper frame 22 of the two frames 22 and 23 is connected to these pillars 24. Corrugated radiation plates 35, 36 are applied between the sides of the two frames 22, 23 and their sides are bent outward. Those bent sides are laid along the respective facing sides of the pillars 24 and edge parts are welded oil-tightly to compose a tank. Hoisting hooks 43 are provided to the top parts of the hypotenuse parts of the pillars 24. With this constitution, the safety of a cargo work is secured and the welded parts are protected from damage during hoisting. |
