MANUFACTURE OF RECORD DISC

PURPOSE:To manufacture a record disc with no change in the sound quality eliminating cutting of a sound groove with a high surface sensitivity by a method wherein a composition mainly made up of a vinyl chloride based resin is subjected to a stamper molding and an ionizing radiation of 3-10 Mrad to crosslink it. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition mainly containing a vinyl chloride based resin (including a copolymer resin mainly comprising vinyl chloride preferably with the average polymerization value of 400-800) is subjected to a stamper molding. An ionizing radiation of 3-10 Mrad irradiates to closslink it. To elevate the irradiation closslinking reactivity, the resin component may contain a multifunctional monomer.
