PURPOSE:To improve flow characteristics, by incorporating, as a binder, a rosin resin metal salt obtd. by reacting rosin, a dibasic acid, a polyhydric alcohol and a specified metallic compd. together. CONSTITUTION:A rosin resin metal salt obtd. by reacting rosin (a), a dibasic acid (b) selected from maleic acid, maleic anhydride and furmaric acid. a polyhydric alcohol (c) and at least one member (d) selected from among calcium, zinc and magnesium, is incorporated as a binder in a heat-fusible road marking material. Examples of the rosins are hydrogenated, polymerized or disproportionated rosin and unmodified rosin. Said metal salt is used as a binder, and colorant such as titanium oxide or yellow lead oxide, additives such as calcium carbonate, glass bead, etc. are blended therewith.
