<p>Direct compression magnesium containing vehicle, preferably magnesium oxide, is prepared by admixing a magnesium compound with a calcium phosphate, compacting under sufficient pressure to form a sheet and comminuting the granules to a particle size sufficient for the desired end use such as direct compression tableting. The cocompacted blend can be used as is or as the base for dilution with additional ingredients.</p> |
