The control value of the proportional solenoid valve 48 at this time is stored in a memory means, and when a slight depressing action of an accelerator pedal during idling is detected via the output signal of a throttle valve opening sensor 50, the control value at this time is stored. At the same time, the feedback control of idle rotation is stopped. Then, when the completion of a slight depressing action of the accelerator is detected, the control of the said valve 28 is restarted by using the control value stored prior to the interruption of the feedback control.
