PURPOSE:To effectively cool each part without increasing the capacity of a radiator by installing a cooling-water circulation circuit and a flow passage control means which include the water jackets separately installed onto a cylinde head and a cylinder block. CONSTITUTION:Water pumps 10 and 11 are installed at the respective cooling- water inlets 6 and 8 of the water jackets 4 and 5 installed individually onto a cylinder head 2 and a cylinder block 3. The cooling-water outlet 7 of the water jacket 4 is connected to the inlet of a radiator 15 through conduits 12 and 14 having a control valve 13 installed, and the outlet is connected to the intake port of the pump 10. On the other hand, cooling-water outlet 9 of the water jacket 5 is connected to the intake port of the pump 11 through conduits 17, 18, and 20 having control valves 28 and 19 installed. Said conduit 18 is connected to the intake-side conduit 16 of the pump 10 by a conduit 27, and the conduits 17 and 20 are connected to the radiator inlet side conduits 14 and 12 before and behind the control valve 13 by the conduits 24 and 23 having control valves 25 and 22 installed. |
