PURPOSE:To partition a terrace wall type heating oven into two or more compartments, by forming projections which act as partition wall on the inside of an inclined wall of the oven. CONSTITUTION:In a terrace wall type heating oven 1 constructed in steps, protruding partition walls 3 which extend vertically so that the end face may be positioned on a vertical line, are formed inside inclined walls 2 and in the middle of the wall 2. The protruding walls 3 partitions the inside of inclined walls into at least two compartments e.g. 1st zone (A) and 2nd zone (B). In the figure, 4 an 5 represent a burner and a radiation heating tube, respectively. The partition wall 3 makes it possible to divide the inside of inclined walls readily which is difficult to partition with a fiber brick wall. Thus heating in zones A and B can be controlled for smooth operation.
