PURPOSE:To make leakproofness and corrosion resistance yet better, by applying carbon fluoride mixed with a bonding agent to an insulating packing and its peripheral parts after cell assembling. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fluoride (a) mixed with a bonding agent is applied to an insulating packing 3 interposed between a cell case 1 of an assembled cell and a seal plate 2 plus its peripheral parts. Since the carbon fluoride ash a maximum contact angle with moisture (humidity) among the existing substances, any drop in rigidity due to water absorption in the packing can be prevented so that both of leakproofness and corrosion resistance are improved at the same time.
