PURPOSE:To display plural pictures of remote participants at the same time by one transmission line by transmitting and receiving a field multiplex video signal multiplexing plural picture signals. CONSTITUTION:An address 01 or 10 is assigned respectively to earth B, C in case of a television conference among three points, a memory address of 01 or 10 is added respectively to a field of each point (B, C) and a document field is transmitted while being added with a document display signal 1. Thus, in this case, any terminal at the field period 01 or 10 or the picture of each point goes to an H level in an output of a decoder 61 of a memory control circuit 21. When a received picture display signal 52 is 0, write signals 53, 54 go to the H level in reponse to the output of the decoder 61, a received video signal is written respectively in corresponding received frame memories 22, 23 and portrait of the earth B, C is displayed respectively on monitors 13, 14. Further, when the received document display signal 52 is at level 1, the received video signal is written in the received frame memory 24 and the document is displayed on the monitor 15. |
