PURPOSE:To form the shape of the head section of a composite pin to a predetermined shape corresponding to the difference of uses by arranging a silver solder material to the flange section of a lead pin consisting of a sealing alloy and bringing an electrode into contact with the arranged silver solder material and resistance-welding the solder material. CONSTITUTION:A flange section 11 is formed at the upper end section of a lead pin 10. A ring-shaped solder material 12 is inserted to the pin 10, and brought into contact with the lower surface of the flange section 11. The shaft section of the pin 10 is inserted loosely and placed to the groove section 15 of a lower electrode 14. A composite pin integrally joined without deforming the flange section 11 and the solder material 12 is obtained by adding slight load to the upper surface of the flange section 11 and conducting a section between upper and lower electrodes 13, 14. Or the lead pin and the silver solder material may be joined integrally by bringing the electrode into contact with the flange section or bringing the electrode into contact with the silver solder material and the flange section. |
