A suction brush assembly and a vacuum cleaner having the assembly are provided to stick foreign matters not sucked through a suction port to cleaning member by forming an additional cleaning member at a housing of the suction brush, thereby improving cleaning efficiency, and to broaden a selected range for users by selectively mounting the cleaning member at the housing. A vacuum cleaner comprises: a cleaner main body(10); a connecting hose(12) formed with a handle(11) on one end and connected with the cleaner main body; an extensible pipe(13) connected with the handle; and a suction brush assembly(20) connected with an end of the extensible pipe. The suction brush assembly includes a housing(21); and a cleaning tool installed at the lower side of the housing. The cleaning tool for removing fine dust not sucked through a suction port(23a) has a cleaning member(30) detachably installed at the housing; and a supporting unit for rotatively supporting the cleaning member.
