PURPOSE:To decrease the overhead of a system by executing a processing where the field of information/command is designated adding a part of the field to the processed information, and transmitting the information to a device represented by its address to reduce the number of times transmission of the information. CONSTITUTION:An LAN11 of a local area network LAN system is constituted by a coaxial cable or an optical fiber or the like, and devices 13A-13C are connected to the LAN11 via LAN interfaces LIF12A-12C. A disc device DISK is connected to the device 13B, a printer PRNTR is connected to the device 13C, the device 13A extracts the information stored in the device 13B, and the device 13C prints out the information. Then, the processing where the field of information/command is designated is executed, a part of information of the field of the information/command is added to the information obtained by the processing, and trasmitted to the device represented by the 2nd address to reduce the number of times of transmission of the information obtained by the execution of processing. |
