发明名称 INFRARED CATHODE RAY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a convenient photon source having wavelength longer than 800nm which is invisible to human eye by providing phosphor material producing photon of infrared wavelength onto the inner face of face plate of a cathode ray tube and functioning CRT as a special light source. CONSTITUTION:Phosphor material producing photon of infrared wavelength is provided onto the inner face of face plate of a cathode ray tube. For example, a glass tube 15 for forming a vacuum container, a tube face 16 for supporting a phosphor film 27 and an electron gun section 18 are provided where the electron gun section 18 is excited by feeding an electric signal from the terminal section 24. Furthermore in order to protect the phosphor film 27, a metal film 26 such as Al is provided and high voltage (10-30kV) is applied from the exterior through the terminal 25 for the purpose to provide energy to the electron beam. For example, Y2O3:Nd<3+>, Y3Al5O12:Nd<3+>, Y2O2S: Nd<3+>, etc. is employed as the phosphor substance.
