PURPOSE:To prevent loosening between works after electrical caulking by supplying AC power to plural metals and caulking the metals by the pessurizing force exerted thereon. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of a power source 24 is determined by taking materials, etc. of a casting material 16 and a shaft material 20 into consideration. The AC power of the power source 24 is supplied to a lower electrode 18 and an upper electrode 22. The material 20 pressurized by the lower electrode 18 and the upper electrode 22 deforms then the material 20 contacts the material 16 and the current flowing in the material 20 is shunted to the material 16. The current shunted in the material 16 is passed through the surface side of the material 16 by the surface sking effect. The temp. of the material 16 is consequently quickly increased to the temp. higher than the material 20 so that the material 16 cools down faster and shrinks more largely than the material 20 in the cooling stage after the end of the current conduction. The material 20 and the material 16 are thus joined by strong binding force. The material 20 and the material 16 are powerfully bound even after cooling without loosening on the fitting surfaces of the two materials.
