SPECKLE REDUCING DEVICE FOR LASER DISPLAY APPARATUS

A speckle reducing device for a laser display apparatus is provided to reduce speckle noise by equalizing the speckle noises by converting a laser beam into hundreds of multi-modes through a multi-mode generating element and randomly changing optical paths of the multi-mode laser beam. A speckle reducing device for a laser display apparatus is composed of a multi-mode generator(13) for converting a laser beam output from a laser source(11) into a multi-mode laser beam having hundreds of multi-modes; an equalizer for reducing a speckle noise pattern displayed on a screen(15), through mutual equalizing by randomly changing optical paths of the multi-mode laser beam; and a converting unit(18) for converting the multi-mode laser beam generated from the multi-mode generator correspondently to the display screen.
