PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the yield by applying skew groove processing nearly in parallel with a projected stripe part after filling in a reinforcing nonmagnetic material to a concaved stripe at formed on one face of a bonding magnetic member block of a prescribed form so as to improve the accuracy of size processing track width. CONSTITUTION:In order to constitute the projected stripe part 15 being the thickness of a track width W, concaved stripes parts 16, 16' having a suitable width are formed. Reinforcing glass plates 17, 17' having a lower melting temperature than the melting temperature of a molten glass 13 are filled in the concaved stripe parts 16, 16', the projected stripe part 15 is reinforced and then the surface is mirror-polished so as to constitute a prescribed gap depth (d). A slider part being a part opposite to a magnetic recording medium forms grooves 19, 19' required for floating to a block sliced at each chip and chamfering processing is attained. Then winding is applied to a winding window 18 and fitted to a core gimbal. |
