PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for fine adjustment or the like after assembling by forming a mounting base with a member rich in rigidity and providing a recessed part to position a motor for disc turning and a guide rail for head movement to the upper side face to install the motor and guide rail onto the mounting base. CONSTITUTION:A circular hole 1A and a support wall 1B as a recessed part for motor positioning are provided on the mounting base 1 having large thickness and rich in rigidity, the outer circumference of a disc part 2A of the motor 2 is fitted to the circumference of the circular hole 1A and the motor 2 is fixed while one side of the motor 2 is adhered closely to the support wall 1B functioning as a reference face of the vertically of the motor shaft. On the other hand, steps 1D, 1E as recessed parts for positioning a couple of guide rails formed in parallel with both sides of a groove 1C are provided and cylindrical guide rails 8A, 8B of a carriage 9 are tightened and fixed while the rails are in close contact with each vertical face of the stepped parts 1D, 1E functioning as a reference face of the parallelism by bolts 10A, 10B. |
