<p>The present invention relates to a damage-minimizing door comprising: a flexible curtain having a first upper end and a second lower end and side edges; and a curtain winding mechanism. The first end of said curtain is secured to the curtain winding mechanism for moving the curtain upwards and downwards. There are a pair of parallel spaced apart guide channel means in which the side edges of the curtain are movable, sealingly engageable therewith under at least atmospheric pressure and releasable therefrom at a predetermined impact force on said curtain.</p> |
