PURPOSE:To estimate the source of failure precisely by applying a fault factor to each apparatus and a direct wave and relation between two apparatuses and estimating the fault source by abnormal and normal information from sensors. CONSTITUTION:A plant 101 has plural constitutional apparatuses 102 and sensors 103 and outputs detecting signals 105 of flow rates or the like to an abnormality detecting device 107 consisting of fault detectors 106. The device 107 previously stores a reference signal discriminating whether respective signals are normal or not, compares the reference signal with the detecting signals 105 and outputs the compared results to an estimating device 109 of the source of failure. The estimating device 109 checks the output every fixed time, and when a normal signal is changed to an abnormal signal, stores the corresponding apparatus 102. The device 109 finds out the estimation factor of the fault source from the stored signal 108 and a signal indicating the fault wave and its direction and the fault factor of each apparatus which is outputted from an initial data input device 112 on the basis of an operation indicating signal 111 from an operator console 110 and displays the estimation factor on a display device 115. |
