PURPOSE:To obtain a cell having low internal resistance and excellent characteristics with little dispersion by polishing the surface of a positive electrode current collector made of metal titanium in contact with the positive electrode black mix in a normal method and coating this polished surface with a carbon film and drying it. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a positive electrode current collector 10 electrically welded with a titanium plate to the inner bottom surface of a case 1 in contact with the positive electrode black mix 3 is polished and coated with a carbon film 11 and dried. Even if the current collector 10 made of metal titanium is polished with a grinder, sandpaper, etc. to remove an oxide film, the oxide film is again formed as time passes, thus the time before the carbon film is formed after polishing is better to be short, but no substantial diffrence is noticed from the coating immediately after polishing if the coating is performed within about one hour. |
