DIAMOND WHEEL FOR TRUING GRINDING WHEEL

PURPOSE:To project diamonds sufficiently and to provide sharpness stably by burryng cylindrical sintered diamonds through metal bond into the outercircumference of disc base with radial axis. CONSTITUTION:Sintered diamonds 12 held in the outercircumferential face of disc base 11 have cylindrical shape of 1mm. diameter and 3mm. length produced through high temperature, high temperature, high pressure method having radial axis and arranged in the circumferential direction with constant pitch. Said diamonds 12 are secured by burrying 2/3 of the entire length into metal bond 13 produced by sintering metal powder. Carbon mold 20 for holding the sintered diamonds 12 through metal bond 13 are formed into a ring having annular recess 21 in the innercircumference. The sintered diamonds 12 are arranged with constant pitch in said recess 21 while adhering the outer end with bond. Metal powder 13a is filled between the metal base 11 and the carbon mold 20 then sintered.
