PURPOSE:To move a pen and a pen tray rapidly by moving a slide plate fitting the pen tray in a straight line by a motor and matching or saving it with respect to the tip position of the pen. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recording, a step motor 23 turns in a counterclockwise direction and stops in a state that the lower end of a lever 21 comes to the position of a position detector 24a and the pen tray 20 provided on the pen tray sliding plate 16 is detached from the position of the pen tip 13a. At the same time, the electrifying to a solenoid 28 is made off and a pen raising arm 26 turns in a clockwise direction and a bar 27 is detached from the pen 13 and the pen tip 13a abuts on recording paper 12. In this way, since the pen tray sliding plate 16 and the pen 13 can be moved in a moment electrically by the step motor 23 and the solenoid 28 respectively, the moving time of the pen tray can be remarkably reduced. |
