The lighting device (1) has a housing part (2, 4) which has a one piece even section and an angle section. The angle section is arranged in such a way that the object can be illuminated over a light. A lighting recess in the angle section prevents viewing of the light from a viewing level. The angle section has a lighting section with the lighting recess and a shielding section, over which viewing of the light from the viewing level is preventable. The lighting section has at even section, an angle in the range of 125-145deg, preferentially approximately 135deg. An independent claim is included for an LED block.
