PURPOSE:To obtain a device displaying a calculated result in any data format out of the one in a main storage part and the one proper to arithmetic processing by storing data in said data formats. CONSTITUTION:Data are stored in a register file memory by the 1st format corresponding to the data format in the main storage part and the 2nd format proper to the arithmetic processing. The data of the 1st format read from the main storage part are loaded as they are to the 1st format register 301 in a register file memory 30 and a V1 flag 311 is set up to ''1'' in order to indicate that the register 301 stores proper value. When data are to be stored in the main storage part, the contents of the 1st format register 301 are transferred to the main storage part as they are when the V1 flag 311 is ''1''. When the V1 flag 311 is ''0'', the data in the 2nd format register 302 are converted into the 1st format and then transferred to the main storage part. |
