<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate deadlock and prevent the rate of operation from lowering in a system such as computer controlled production system where a number of equipments operate in parallel, by providing a reserving function for preventing the system from changing its condition, and adding thereto a function for adjusting the reserving function. CONSTITUTION:When any equipment or machine tool in the system completes its operation, a ''job'' to be done in the next step is prepared. The job is transferred to and stored in the ''job receiving function''. This information is equivalent to ''function for making operation commands row'', and an operation command necessary for carring out the job is made separately for each equipment in consideration of operation sequence. The resulted row of commands are stored in memory as the operation command row. It is judged for the preceding reserved N operations whether the equipment or machine tool corresponding to each operation command can be reserved for operation. If such reservation is possible, these equipments or machine tools are reserved for operation and the operation command is given to the equipment corresponding to the first operation in the operational sequence. In such a manner, it is enabled to reserve N operations in advance for any desired value N.</p> |
